Addition & Renovation to Cape Cod style house in Newport, RI. This house is within walking distance to the beach but it only had two bedrooms and very tight spaces. The original house had fallen into disrepair and one of the directives was to restore the character it once had. The client's wanted to add a master bedroom with bath, an open plan living room, new deck and finished basement. The owner is from Hartford, CT but like to spend the summer time in RI.
